PROMISES OF CHRIST

  1. I assure you that whoever does not accept the reign of God like a little child shall not take part in it. (Mark 10:15)
  2. I give you my words, if you are ready to believe that you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer, it shall be done for you. (Mark 11:24)
  3. Blessed are the poor in spirit, the reign of God is theirs.
  4. Blessed too are the sorrowing, they shall be consoled.
  5. Blest are the lowly, they shall inherit the land.
  6. Blest are they, who hunger and thirst for holiness, they shall have their fill.
  7. Blest are they who show mercy, mercy shall be theirs.
  8. Blest are the single-hearted, for they shall see God.
  9. Blest too are the peacemakers, they shall be called sons of God.
  10. Blest are those persecuted for holiness' sake, the reign of God is theirs.
  11. Blest are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of slander against you because of me. Be glad and rejoice, for you reward is great in heaven.
  12. Whoever fulfills and teaches these commands shall be great in the kingdom of God.
  13. Be on guard against performing religious acts for people to see. Otherwise expect no recompense from your heavenly Father.
  14. If you forgive the faults of others, your heavenly Father will forgive you yours.
  15. Seek first his kingship over you, his way of holiness, and all these will be given you besides.
  16. The measure with which you measure will be used to measure you.
